When are we jumping?
Our next jumps are on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March 2018.
Where will I be jumping from?
Hinton Skydiving Centre
is at Brackley Aerodrome near Banbury and about 30 minutes drive from Leamington. We can help co-ordinate car share or we can collect you from the bus stop in Brackley village (there’s a good bus service from Banbury).
How much do I need to raise?
We ask you to raise a minimum of £450. Once you have raised the first £100 then we will book your place. Obviously we would like you to raise as much as possible as every penny helps our work with young people. Last year one young person doing a skydive raised over £1,300 for her charity of choice. Could you do better?
What training will be required?
As we will be doing a tandem skydive, the training required is minimal and lasts around 30 minutes on the day of your Skydive.
Do I need to be fit in order to jump?
The main physical requirement of jumping is to be able to lift your knees to your chest when landing. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you will be required to present a doctor’s note on the day.
Is there a minimum age?
You must be 16 or over to make a parachute jump in the UK. 16 and 17 year olds will need parental permission. There is no maximum age.
Can I take out extra insurance?
Personal Liability (3rd party insurance) is included when you Skydive. If you require Personal Accident insurance cover, you will need to arrange this yourself. Leaflets are available at the centre and insurance cover can easily be arranged on the day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We hope that the weather will be good, but this is England! So if the day is cancelled, Skyline will reorganise our jump for no additional charge.
